Trainee Affordable Housing Development Coordinator Chris Main Limited is an independent recruitment agency that resources for the house building sector. My client is a national house builder with a network of offices across the UK. We are seeking to hire a Trainee Development Co-ordinator who will progress to Development Manager. The role is based in Mansfield. This role will suit someone with an interest in property with perhaps a relevant business degree or qualification. What is the role? To support the Group Head of Partnership Homes and the Head of Partnership Homes South/North in the delivery of Affordable Homes Proposition to the Affordable Home Market. This will include negotiating and securing offers from Registered Providers for the disposal by the client of Affordable Housing as required under s106 Planning Agreements. Alongside the delivery of commercial offers, you will be expected to assist with managing the forward programme of s106 sites to secure forward delivery of Affordable Home sales. Once firm offers have been secured, you will be required to assist with converting the offers into legally binding Development Agreements between the client and the Registered Provider for the delivery of the s106 affordable housing within agreed target exchange timescales. What experience do I need? Good numeracy skills. Qualification in subject requiring numeracy such as Business, accounting, science, or mathematics. Good negotiation and Influencing skills A self-starter with ability to arrange workload in order to meet deadlines. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Able to understand architectural drawings and floor plans. Qualifications or experience in a role involving use of architectural plans Able to analyse complex data and documents synthesis information from them and produce summaries, options and proposals from the data. Has a driving license and access to a car that can be used for travel as required to undertake the role. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
