Easternrose Limited is a Corby-based commercial and residential property investment company. Our portfolio includes residential blocks, HMOs, and a growing self-storage business, Smartbox Self Storage.
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Team Manager to lead our in-house team, oversee all aspects of property maintenance, and ensure high standards across all sites. This is not just a management role — you will be actively involved in repairs, inspections, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
* Lead, support, and supervise the maintenance team and contractors
* Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality work
* Conduct performance reviews and support team development
* Work on-site to set the standard through hands-on leadership
Maintenance & Inspections
* Carry out property repairs (plumbing, carpentry, decorating, general maintenance)
* Conduct regular inspections across all properties
* Identify issues early and implement preventative maintenance plans
* Ensure communal and office areas of all properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained
Compliance & Health & Safety
* Ensure all work complies with Construction Design and Management Regulations and Health & Safety laws
* Oversee risk assessments, RAMS, site inductions, and statutory checks
* Management and implementation of fire risk assessments across all properties
* Maintain a strong health and safety culture
Operations, Contractors & Emergencies
* Work with the property team to manage maintenance budgets and track costs
* Maintain digital records using scheduling and reporting tools
* Source and oversee contractors, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
* Develop emergency response plans and provide or coordinate out-of-hours cover
Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience in property maintenance
* Previous team supervision experience
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Construction Design and Management Regulations
* IT literate – confident using Microsoft Office
* Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
* Full UK driving licence
