Job description
Redcentric are looking to hire an experienced Test Lead for the testing stream of their Dynamics 365 F&O re-implementation. As a Test Lead you will manage the end-to-end testing of solutions for the transformation project. This will focus on leading the testing on complex business and finance processes underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics.
Redcentric uses Microsoft D365 widely across the business for Sales, Delivery, Procurement and Finance, including Billing.
The D365 Footprint includes:
* D365 CE: Marketing, Sales and Project Operations
* D365 F&O: Procurement, Cash and Bank, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Tax, Products, Projects, Stock, Project Accounting
* CDS, Dual-Write & Azure integrations
The Test Lead will have the requisite experience of delivering manual and automated testing of Dynamics 365 and will work alongside our implementation partners, the Redcentric business users and our internal D365 Programme team to ensure that new functionality delivered by the programme is appropriately tested and signed off.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Duties will include, but are not restricted to, the following:
* Work with our implementation partners to establish and refine best practices on Unit testing, Functional testing, Performance testing and User Acceptance Testing
* Provide direction and guidance for test process improvements and establishment of policies
* Prepare or contribute to Test Status reports to communicate progress of testing and status of issues
* Be prepared to present test strategies and test results to all levels across the business
* Work with Business Users to prepare use cases, test criteria & test plans and confirm scope for sign off
* Ensure developer testing is completed as needed
* Defect Management coordinating with internal teams, third party suppliers and system integrators.
* Establish and maintain regression test packs to support ongoing releases & future product updates.

* Proven professional competencies of Test Management and Testing
* Experience of preparing Test Strategies and Approaches
* Several years’ experience of working with D365 F&O and CE
* A proven track record in testing accounting systems and regulatory change
* Experience of testing tools at sufficient depth to take ownership and implementation of new solutions
* Experience of using ADO to track testing
* Significant experience of preparing test scripts, working closely with business users, logging and chasing bugs
* Experience of reporting test progress and presenting to all levels within a business
* Experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* JIRA and Confluence tool experience.

Hours of Work
The Company’s core hours of work are from 9.00am - 5.30pm with one hour for lunch Monday to Thursday, and 9.00am – 3.30pm on Fridays. However, due to the nature of the role, work may be required to be carried out outside of these hours as circumstances demand.
The candidate should ideally be located to be able to commute to our Harrogate office where key project personnel are located.
The expectation is that the role will require face to face interaction in the office up to 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on remaining days.
