Overview
We are inviting an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacy assistant to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit at Cheltenham General Hospital, part of the 3 Counties Cancer Network. The unit prepares chemotherapy for patients from Gloucestershire and surrounding areas within a brand new, purpose‑built aseptic unit.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the provision of a safe and efficient aseptic production service while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, good practice and quality standards.
* Support all aspects of the unit, including cleaning, handling, receipting, dispensing, aseptic preparation, storage and disposal.
* Assist pharmacists and technical staff, contributing to a high‑quality service for patients, staff and the wider Trust.
* Demonstrate Trust values and personal attributes that ensure efficient service delivery and accountability.
* Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines and Trust procedures and policies.
