This hands-on role is perfect for an IT professional or student who enjoys problem-solving and delivering high-quality customer-focused IT support with a values based organisation. AdTec is an internal managed service provider to many of the Seventh-day Adventist Church entities across the South Pacific. It hosts and supports multiple services ranging from core business functions through to aged care and education. AdTec also drives innovation and develops customised software to support the needs of clients whilst promoting a high information security resilience. About the role: Provide first-level IT support to staff across the organisation (hardware, software, and basic network issues). Assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and day-to-day IT tasks. Escalate issues when required and document solutions. Essential: Practising baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with a strong commitment to its teachings, values, and mission. Studying towards or completed a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Working knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its management. Working knowledge of information technology and computer-related issues. Passion for solving problems through software and process enhancements. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Advanced level of computer literacy and competency. Self-motivated with a high level of initiative. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Preferred: Prior experience in an outsourced service delivery environment. In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems and Microsoft Office / Office 365. Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Strong organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, including liaising with key contacts and triaging and escalating tickets as required.
