Effectively deliver a range of functions within the Internal Audit Section of East Ayrshire Council by supporting the provision and continuing development of a quality Internal Audit Service to all clients, thereby assisting with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives outlined in Internal Audit Plans and the Community Plan.

The Individual
This is a permanent, full-time position based at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The salary range is £47,848 to £52,325 per annum. The workstyle is 'Mobile', requiring 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed location 1 to 2.5 days per week, with the remainder working remotely or at other locations as needed. It is expected that office-based employees (excluding those in schools) will work towards the higher end of their allocated workstyle.
