This is a mobile role involving the installation, replacement and repairs of fire doors, frames, and associated components across commercial and residential buildings.The role is suited to a skilled carpenter or multi-skilled operative with experience fitting doors - particularly fire-rated doors - and carrying out high-quality remedial work.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, replace and repair fire doors, frames, hinges, closers, locks, intumescent materials, and associated hardwareRemove and dispose of old or damaged fire doors and frames safely and professionallyEnsure all installations meet fire safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practiceCarry out fire door remedial works, including adjustments, repairs, and upgradesWork from inspection reports or job specifications to plan and complete worksRecord completed works accurately on a digital system (tablet provided)Liaise professionally with clients and site representativesMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentFollow all site and company health & safety proceduresDesired Skills & ExperienceWe welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
