DSG Financial Modelling Lead - Interim
Spencer Clarke Group are working with an Local Authority to appoint an Interim DSG Financial Modelling specialist to support a key piece of work within Education and Children's Services.
What's on Offer
* Day rate: £400 - £600 (please include your required rate)
* 6 months contract +
* Mostly remote working (very occasional office travel as required)
The Role
This role will provide specialist, dedicated support to the production of the DSG Management Plan, ensuring financial modelling is robust, accurate and deliverable.
Key responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining robust financial models based on accurate data
* Scenario planning and financial modelling within the MTFP
* Supporting the production of the DSG Management Plan
* Working closely with the Education team, Children's Services Finance Business Partner and DSG Funding Co-ordinator
* Providing broader financial support to Education following plan submission (from June onwards)
About You
* Qualified Accountant (CIPFA/ACCA/ACA)
* Strong financial modelling and scenario planning experience
* Experience working within Local Authority finance (desirable)
