A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chorley is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis starting from 2nd February.
About the Role
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
* Support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.
* Provide 1:1 and small‑group interventions for pupils who may need additional support.
* Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and behaviour support.
* Help foster a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
* Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Is patient, proactive and able to adapt to changing classroom needs.
* Ideally has experience in a school setting or holds a Level 2/3 TA qualification (desirable, not essential).
