Job Description

As part of our growth initiatives, we are seeking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager in our Spectroscopy Products Division.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for quickly establishing and overseeing the sales strategy for all spectroscopy products, developing business by creating lasting relationships with new customers and ensuring the business meets its strategic objectives for growth and profitability within North America. Extensive domestic and occasional international travel of up to 100% is expected.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to grow business within assigned territory.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.
3. Develop and effectively deliver customer presentations and demonstration of products.
4. Maintain positive and effective customer relations within assigned territory, including complaint management and resolution.
5. Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscape.
6. Recommend changes to products and marketing materials to improve competitive and market positioning.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting of sales activity and status of pipeline in CRM.
8. Represent assigned products at trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars.
9. Other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

10. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology or related field.
11. 3+ years of medical sales or applications of medical or scientific instrumentation.
12. Experience with large complex organizations navigating through the sales process and negotiating win/win outcomes.
13. This position may require the use of, and access to, ITAR controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such ITAR controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.

Education and Experience:

14. Sale training.
15. Ability to confidently educate and train users on technical applications.
16. Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
17. Experience in Operating room environment or clinical setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies

18. Proficient problem solving.
19. Interpersonal skillsVerbalWrittenConflict-management
20. Strong communication and presentation skills.
21. Proven ability to interact with internal and external audiences, including customers, in all functions, including clinical, purchasing and senior management roles.
22. Willingness to travel extensively.

Compensation Range (Annual)

23. Up to $140,000(depending on level and location)

In an effort to comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates regarding cash compensation, Renishaw sets standard pay ranges for all U.S.-based roles as established by job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, as well as geographic location, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
