We have permanent, term‑time only working opportunities available.About Freemantles SchoolFreemantles School is a specialist school based in Mayford Green, Woking, providing education for autistic children and young people and those with complex social communication needs, aged 4–19.Alongside our main Mayford site (Primary, Secondary and FE), we operate a temporary satellite provision in Ripley for autistic infant‑aged pupils. This close‑knit setting provides a nurturing, structured environment focused on early communication, emotional wellbeing and readiness for learning.Classes are small, with an average of 9 pupils, allowing staff to give a high level of individual support.About the roleAs a Classroom Assistant, you will: Support pupils with learning activities in the classroom and outdoors Help children develop early communication, independence and social skills Support emotional regulation and wellbeing throughout the school day Work closely with teachers and other staff as part of a class teamTake part in weekly community outings, supporting learning beyond the classroomThis is a hands‑on, active role, ideal for people who enjoy variety and meaningful work.
