About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our Empty Homes Team covering Crawley, Woking, Brighton, and surrounding areas, on a full-time permanent basis.
To apply for this vacancy, you must live within 30 miles of either location to ensure we can reach our customers in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for
We’re a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician with excellent customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to complete the job.
Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Certificated qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
2. Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to v.
3. Ability to correctly complete relevant certifications, follow procedures, and accurately record data.
4. Ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and instructions accurately.
5. Experience working in a customer-focused environment within performance targets.
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organizational and time management skills.
7. Decision-making and problem-solving abilities, seeking advice when needed.
8. Physical capability to perform tasks and lift weights according to health and safety guidelines.
9. Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
10. Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
11. Must hold a current full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
1. ECS/JiB – Graded Electrician
2. Additional proven trade skills beyond main trade.
3. Experience in electrical fixed wiring testing, installing, and maintaining up to v.
Essential Qualifications:
1. City & Guilds parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
2. 17th Edition BS Wiring Regulations.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
2. 18th Edition BS Wiring Regulations.
