Salary: £80 – £95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in County Durham to appoint a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing school environment that places great emphasis on early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS provision
* Leading small group activities to promote early learning goals, including phonics, numeracy, and communication
* Providing individual support to children with varying needs, including those with SEN
* Supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
* Assisting with observations, assessments, and maintaining learning records in line with EYFS framework
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* Have recent experience working in an EYFS setting
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development
* Be nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting young learners
* Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
