You will play a pivotal role in the firm, leading a modern and talented tax team and managing a portfolio of key clients. This position offers a strong mix of advisory and compliance work, with significant exposure to complex tax matters and business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality advisory services.
* Work closely with Tax Partners to provide strategic tax planning solutions to clients.
* Lead and mentor the corporate tax team, conducting appraisals and fostering professional development.
* Develop strong client relationships through regular contact and participation in client meetings.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated solutions to businesses.
* Contribute to business development efforts, helping to grow the firm’s tax practice.
* Stay informed on changing tax regulations and ensure best practices within the firm.
What We’re Looking For:
* Honed leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and appraisals.
* A collaborative, client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
* Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset to support the firm’s growth.
* CTA qualified with ACA or ACCA, or the equivalent qualification with several years of corporate tax experience in practice.
* Experience managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, with exposure to advisory work.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
