We'd like you to join us as a Day time Support Worker to support our female client who lives in Great Haywood.
Meet the client:
Looking for a new support worker to join the team and support our client in her home. Our client can be vocal when happy and enjoys listening to music and watching films on the TV. She enjoys having people around her, reacting positively to the relationships and environment.
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support our female client in her own home for 12-15 hour day shifts, who suffers from a neurodegenerative condition affecting speech, swallowing and mobility. The client requires support with moving and handling, personal care and hygiene, needing to be aware of choke prevention when assisting with feeding and medication for type 1 brittle diabetes. Full training will be provided.
A double up team will be supporting throughout the day.
When you'll be working:
* We are looking for a regular team to work permanently with our client
* 2-3 shifts 12 - 15 hour day shifts
* 7am -10pm & 7am to 7pm
* 12 hour Sleeping nights requested approximately once every second month
* flexibility required across Monday - Sunday
* Full time hours available
