Away Resorts are shaking up the industry and setting the new standards for what to expect from a UK Holiday Park. With 27 parks and resorts around the UK now, our Flagship Resort Tattershall Lakes, is jaw dropping not only in its size but also what it offers our Guests.
We are famous in the industry for a number of things, one of them being the high standards of restaurant quality food and drink on offer. We are a growing business and always looking for new ways to wow our Guests and exceed expectations, so last year we were mega excited to announce the acquisition of our very own Pub!
What we need in a nutshell
Since taking over the Pub, located on the entrance to the Resort, we have sold over 25,000 adult main courses alone, on track for a £1M in our first full year. Safe to say it’s a hit with our Guests and the locals! We are now looking for an experience Food & Beverage Manager to run this new venture.

What you’ll be doing
You will be the person that thrives on leading and inspiring your food and beverage team to deliver delight to all our guests within a busy pub environment.
Working as part of our team of Holiday Heroes, you will be making sure that our guests experience the best possible time with us.
This includes:
1. Leading, training, and motivating a team to deliver a high standard of service and quality of food
2. Overseeing the smooth running of the venue, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
3. Working alongside the team in a fast-paced venue with a constant eye on delivering the best in class service.
4. Driving revenue through service and sales whilst having an eye on profitable growth, delivered with care and flair.
5. Controlling margin through careful stock management and stock reconciliation through weekly stocktakes.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times and eating, and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings, and weekends too.
Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need
We have high standards! We’ll absolutely commit to training you, but you must:
6. Have previous management experience in a Food & Beverage operation ideally within a pub or bar environment
7. Be experienced leading and inspiring teams, so strong people management skills are a must
8. Have an eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation
9. Be able to control costs and grow profit
10. Have knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges
11. Have energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
12. The ability to work under pressure
