Business Development Manager Role: Full-time, Permanent Location: London, Guildford

About The Role The primary focus of this role is to proactively generate specifications and drive sales across all channels, including Retail and Contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Identify prospective Architects & Designers (A&D) practices within a designated radius of each showroom and target geographical growth areas.
Build brand awareness with new and existing A&D practices through direct contact.
Develop a network of new A&D clients within the targeted areas.
Achieve sales and margin targets by generating leads and closing deals.
Actively develop new sales opportunities and collaborate with the wider team to secure new business for both showroom and contracts departments.
Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and developments within the bathroom sector.
Organize and host regular trade events at showrooms and across the UK and internationally.
Use CRM tools to monitor and manage the success of prospects and ongoing client relationships.
Identify and deliver high-profile, prestigious projects across the UK to enhance reputation and brand values.
Manage the project tender process from inception with architects, through to establishing relationships with contractors and QS.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers to boost project conversions.
Support Showroom and Contract Directors in performance improvement initiatives.
Continually develop personal skills and industry knowledge.
Perform any other reasonable management duties as required.
Requirements
Experience selling bathroom products directly into Architects & Interior Designers.
Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
Driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Good team player with a proactive attitude.
