Overview
Salary: Starting at $95,000 + incentives + rewards, paid weekly.
At Storyteller Overland, the Project Manager plays a critical role in driving our most important initiatives from concept to completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while aligning cross-functional teams around a shared goal. The Project Manager acts as the central hub of communication and accountability, coordinating efforts across engineering, production, operations, marketing, and leadership.
Our History and Vibe: We started in 2017 with a drawing on a restaurant napkin illustrating a desire to help people live more adventurous lives. The company launched in 2018 with a team of seven and has grown to include sister companies and a large community of adventurers. Responsibilities
* Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and serve as the central communication point throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure resources are used effectively.
* Aide in resolving issues and blockers promptly to keep projects on track.
* Prepare and present regular project status reports and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
* Balance competing priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and maintain alignment across teams.
* Lead project closeout activities, including retrospectives, process documentation, and lessons learned.
* Oversee the successful handoff of deliverables to operational or support teams.
* Manage multiple, multi-functional, complex tasks across many projects simultaneously.
* Contribute to the overall success of Design, Engineering, R&D, and Production through collaboration and teamwork.
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational and team goals.
Work Schedule
* Flexible: Operating hours are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Work Location
* Facility located in the Lakeshore Area (109 West Park Drive, 35211).
Qualifications/Skills
* Proven project and time management skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented and process-driven.
* Practical leadership experience leading both formal and informal teams.
* Ability to create synergy among diverse workgroups and see projects through from concept to shelf.
Education and Experience
* Project Management Experience required
* Bachelor’s Degree
* Product Development experience a plus
* Manufacturing experience a plus
* PMP Certification a plus
* Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification a plus

Physical Requirements
Candidates should be prepared for the following:
* Sitting for extended periods at a desk with computer use
* Light lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
* Reaching and stretching to access files and equipment
* Visual and mental concentration for reading and analysis
* Repetitive tasks such as filing or scanning with attention to ergonomics
* Sitting or standing for meetings as needed
