We are looking for an enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join the Education and Training team for a fixed term period. This new role will support the team, in particular with implementation of the prescribing role within the department.
This role will have additional duties with governance and community services support, helping to co-ordinate medicines management audits with the Governance team.
The position will offer the opportunity to build on your management experience and work with a dedicated team to optimise the pharmacy service provided.
* To work in conjunction with the Pharmacy Education and Training team to achieve the departmental strategy for Pharmacy training and staff development.
* To provide operational input and support to the education, training and continuing professional development of Trainee Pharmacists and Clinical Diploma Pharmacists.
* To lead on the registration of independent prescribing pharmacists following the Trust NMP committee process.
* Responsible for pharmaceutical standards of community sites that obtain their medication supplies from London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust.
* Responsible for regular FP10 prescribing reports using EPACT2 community prescribing data.
* Key point of contact for community site queries, PGD and relevant policy updates, supported by the Principal Pharmacist for Governance.
