Senior Quantity Surveyor – MOD Projects Location: UK-Wide Sites (Travel Required) Salary: Excellent + package Employer: Confidential Contractor A senior opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial leadership on MOD projects across the UK. This role carries responsibility for overseeing major schemes, supporting delivery teams and protecting commercial performance across a portfolio of secure sites. The Role: * Full commercial responsibility for MOD construction projects * Leading cost control, reporting and risk management * Managing subcontractor procurement and negotiations * Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts * Advising operational teams on contractual matters * Client-facing commercial lead on projects * Mentoring junior commercial staff where required * Regular travel to MOD sites nationwide The Ideal Candidate: * Strong background as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a construction or engineering contractor * Proven experience running complex projects commercially * Excellent contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT) * Comfortable working in high-security environments * Willing to travel extensively * Full UK driving licence essential Package: * Excellent salary * ...
