A vibrant and inclusive Grammar School, dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
* Process invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and year-end accounts.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
* Ensure all financial activities comply with school policies and relevant regulations.
Key Skills/Experience:
* A relevant accounting qualification would be beneficial.
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent attention to detail.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
