Job Description
The Property Legal Counsel will be:
3. Advising on commercial property transactions, developments, leases and licences
4. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex property-related contracts and agreements
5. Working with development, construction, finance and operations teams to align legal risk with business strategy
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, planning and property law obligations
7. Enhancing legal templates, policy and process for property/ development teams
The Successful Applicant
The Property Legal Counsel should be:
8. A solicitor or equivalent with solid experience in commercial property law and development work
9. Comfortable drafting and negotiating leases, licences, acquisitions/divestment's and development agreements
10. Skilled at advising operational teams on legal risk, regulatory issues and governance
11. A confident stakeholder communicator, adept at working with commercial, finance and construction teams
12. Commercially astute, detail-oriented and proactive in supporting growth initiatives
