We are recruiting enthusiastic Clinical Leads to join the new Integrated Eating Disorder Unit. Our Clinical Leads work inclusively, within our multi‑disciplinary team, to achieve the best patient outcomes, to support quality improvement standards and to support the education and well‑being of our diverse nursing team. You will represent high‑quality nursing care and must be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C's in practice – Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
The posts will be part of the CYP Integrated Eating Disorder Unit within Ancora House, a part of the Tier 4 CHEDS Eating Disorder Service. CHEDS is a regional outpatient service offering evidence‑based treatment approaches to 13‑18‑year‑olds who present with an eating disorder and their families/carers. The service provides Tier 4 gate‑keeping for young people with eating disorders requiring an inpatient admission across Cheshire and Merseyside.
We have vacancies for permanent clinical leads which are full‑time and part‑time hours in a shift pattern across days and nights.

Main duties of the job
The post offers the successful applicants the exciting opportunity to join this team in providing the highest quality of care for our service users. This includes (but is not limited to) practical meal support, high level of physical health observations under MEED, medication management, care planning/risk assessments and therapeutic interventions.
As a member of the Integrated Eating Disorder team, you will support the delivery of responsive, evidence‑based, recovery‑focused care to everyone in our care. Ancora operates 24‑hour cover; therefore, to support our nursing team across these shifts, your shifts will include nights. There are a variety of shifts available and all requests for flexible and part‑time working will be considered.
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and experienced clinical lead with a genuine interest in working with young people with eating disorders and their families, and a commitment to delivering specialist assessments and evidence‑based interventions. We are keen to hear from individuals with relevant training and experience.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* NMC Registered Nurse RMN or RGN
* Evidence of Continued Professional development.
Knowledge and Expertise (Essential)
* High level of clinical expertise.
* Understanding and appreciation of national policy and health/social care issues.
* Clear understanding of social inclusion/equality/diversity.
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.
* Knowledge of cultural diversity within the healthcare setting.
* Awareness of current mental health issues, debates and practice.
* Knowledge and understanding of physical health needs.
* A willingness to undertake further training.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the MHA and MCA.
Experience (Essential)
* Relevant post‑qualifying experience at band 5
* Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Supervision experience.
* Working with service users with severe mental health problems utilising user/carer involvement.
