Offer description

Location: London, UK & Reports to: Founder / Creative Director About Peachy Den Peachy Den is an internationally recognised fashion brand with a strong creative vision and a growing global presence. The brand has built a distinctive identity that resonates across digital and physical retail spaces, with two stores in the UK (East London and Soho – Opening Feb 2026). We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Managing Director / Global General Manager to work directly with the Founder in London to scale the business, strengthen operations, and ensure the right resources, people, and processes are in place to drive sustainable and profitable growth. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Peachy Den’s evolution, preserving its creative DNA while building the operational and commercial foundation for long-term global success, including the hands-on implementation of global expansion initiatives and entry into new territories and the scaling of a global wholesale business. Key to success in this role is being a true “do-er” — a leader who drives implementation, turns ideas into action, and serves as the operational support system of the business. The Managing Director / General Manager will play a critical role in relieving pressure from the Founder, enabling them to focus on what they do best: creativity, brand direction, and product vision. Role Overview The Managing Director / Global General Manager will act as the Founder’s right hand and strategic partner, responsible for translating her creative vision into operational and commercial reality. This role requires a highly organised, commercially minded, and hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day execution with long-term scaling strategies. The GMD / GGM will function as the gatekeeper for communications and strategic direction across the organisation — ensuring clarity, accountability, and alignment among all global teams. The Managing Director / General Manager will help shape and implement Peachy Den’s next phase of growth: strengthening global structure, enhancing profitability, improving cash flow, and embedding systems and processes that support sustainable expansion, including the design, launch, and growth of a structured global wholesale channel, all while preserving the brand’s creativity and authenticity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Execution & Growth Drive the execution of the Founder’s vision. Identify and implement opportunities to scale operations globally while preserving brand integrity. Ensure the right team structures, resources, and systems are in place to support growth across multiple regions and channels. Lead execution of business strategy and deliver strong commercial and operational performance. Build organisational structures, processes, and reporting frameworks to support profitable scaling. Maintain alignment between creative direction and commercial outcomes. Define and execute Peachy Den’s wholesale strategy, ensuring it complements DTC and retail without diluting brand equity. Identify priority wholesale markets, partners, and territories to support international expansion. Operational Leadership Act as the central point of operational leadership, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability across all Peachy Den teams. Oversee and continuously refine day-to-day business operations across product development, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, retail, and wholesale. Partner closely with the Head of Operations to strengthen management systems, improve internal communication, and drive operational efficiency across the business. Design and implement scalable policies, processes, and best practices to support Peachy Den’s growth while maintaining quality and speed. Own and optimise stock management, inventory control, and demand forecasting across all channels, including wholesale buy cycles and commitments, to support strong sell-through and healthy cash flow. Introduce and manage technology-led solutions (including AI tools where appropriate) to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and customer experience. Establish and maintain clear cross-functional workflows and project management systems (e.g. Asana or similar). Track and analyse business performance through KPIs and regular reporting. Wholesale & Channel Expansion Optimise Peachy Den’s end-to-end wholesale operating model, including pricing architecture, margin targets, MOQs, delivery calendars, and contractual frameworks. Build scalable wholesale processes across sales, merchandising, operations, logistics, and finance. Oversee relationships with key wholesale partners, distributors, and agents, ensuring strong performance and brand alignment. Ensure wholesale growth is operationally sound, cash-flow positive, and well integrated with production and inventory planning. Develop reporting and performance metrics to evaluate wholesale profitability by partner, market, and region. Plan for the expansion of the wholesale team and infrastructure as this channel continues to grow rapidly. People & Culture Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and creativity aligned with Peachy Den’s values. Strengthen communication between creative, commercial, and operational teams. Support the evolution of the organisation’s structure to meet the needs of a growing, multi-channel business. Financial & Commercial Management Work closely with the Head of Finance on cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and group P&L performance. Drive profitability through effective resource allocation and operational efficiency. Maintain oversight of working capital and inventory levels across DTC, retail, and wholesale. Lead negotiations with suppliers, partners, distributors, and wholesale accounts to secure favourable commercial outcomes. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, tax, and operational requirements in each jurisdiction. Support capital raise or financing initiatives as required. Proven Skills & Experience Proven track record as a Managing Director, General Manager, or senior commercial leader in an international fashion, retail, or e-commerce business. Strong operational leadership experience and ability to scale global, multi-channel operations. Deep commercial acumen with experience managing full P&L accountability. Demonstrated experience building and scaling a wholesale business within a fashion or lifestyle brand. Skilled in supply chain management, stock optimisation, and use of ERP systems. Experience implementing technology and AI-driven tools to improve visibility, reporting, and performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner closely with creative founders. Balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership.
