Job Description
To support all areas of the Warehouse and Transport Operation to deliver first-class customer service.
Working as part of a wider team across the operation to ensure that processes in all areas are followed to maintain a safe and productive environment in line with the customer's site service level agreement.
This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to engage at all levels with good communication skills, working closely with peers as well as managing and motivating a team of up to 20-30 colleagues to deliver targets to strict timelines.
Working any 5/7 nights - 10pm-6am
Safety
1. Work with the local management team to drive and improve Health & Safety standards across the site and within the area of responsibility.
2. Ensure colleagues work as trained and commit to maintaining a clean and safe environment, reporting issues accordingly.
3. Actively participate in targeted Site Safety control measures and associated targets.
Operations
* Deliver and demonstrate performance improvement in your areas of responsibility around waste and underperformance.
People
* Maintain resource availability to meet full customer demand, including recruitment, colleague development (upskilling), engagement, and management of holidays, sickness, and absence.
Customer
* Meet and improve upon customer contractual expectations and KPIs.
