Overview
Fuse Rail is seeking an experienced E&P Project Manager to join our team, working from our main office in Folkestone, Kent, on projects across the South East.
Purpose of the Position
The E&P Project Manager will support the Senior Project Manager and production team by organizing and motivating staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the development of maintenance, construction, design, and project works to achieve key business objectives.
2. Ensure effective risk control and compliance with standards, performance, and business processes.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and suppliers within the Infrastructure Construction & Engineering portfolio.
4. Oversee the timely assignment and discharge of Construction Design Management (CDM) obligations for all projects.
5. Promote the Fuse Rail Management System and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Monitor and verify the quality of work and asset compliance.
7. Ensure staff and subcontractors possess valid competencies.
8. Verify that vehicles, plant, tools, equipment, and materials are fit for use and properly managed.
9. Accurately report on work progress and maintain records.
10. Operate within delegated authorities as per company policy.
11. Contribute to personal and team development.
12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements, including GDPR.
13. Prioritize health and safety for yourself and others, report hazards, and use equipment responsibly.
Experience and Qualifications
1. Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the industry.
2. Experience with E&P, CRE/ETE preferred but not essential.
3. Background in CRE or CEM roles.
4. Motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Proven management experience in complex, safety-critical environments.
7. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
8. Knowledge of health and safety management, standards, and railway operations.
9. IT literate with good communication skills.
10. Full UK Driving License and current Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
11. Membership of a professional body is desirable.
