Job Summary
The digital learning specialist will work as a key subject matter expert within the learning and development team, working alongside others to ensure the digital learning needs of the organisation are met. They will be part of the ecosystem of learning by combining instructional design skills and digital learning skills to create a range of digital learning for the organisation. They will support the creation of a learning culture by embedding the 70 : 20 : 10 concept, manage the digital e‑learning platform, monitor data, analyse effectiveness and, when necessary, deputise for the Digital Learning and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead liaison with key stakeholders across the organisation, leading discussions to scope, develop and review materials.
 * Produce learning aims and objectives, gather content from multiple sources, and recommend effective blending solutions to create new or update existing courses.
 * Select and use a variety of techniques to determine instructional content and maintain high‑quality learning services.
 * Co‑lead creation of digital materials (animations, interactive guides, visual aids, video, e‑learning).
 * Partner with third‑party technical support to develop and maintain the Learning Management System.
 * Develop training and advise staff to maximise LMS usage.
 * Deploy learning interventions on the HRAs Learning Management System, including customisation of course activities and pathways.
 * Lead marketing activities associated with learning.
 * Maintain knowledge and expertise in the latest design and development practices.
 * Deputise for the Digital Learning and Operations Manager when required.

Qualifications
 * IT qualification or media design qualification at A‑Level or BTEC (or equivalent experience).
 * Proficient with MS Office.
Desirable
 * Qualified in the use of eLearning software such as Storyline, Articulate, VYOND, Camtasia.
 * Experience of working within a blended learning environment, including development of innovative digital learning solutions.
 * Experience of learning and development methodologies and understanding of building and sustaining a learning culture.
 * Experience of supporting learning in blended environments and liaising with internal and external agencies.
 * Advanced use of all MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook).
 * Excellent IT skills, including contemporary online learning and events management platforms.
