Returning, long-term family of Kinder Nannies is looking for a 1 day pw nanny, as their main nanny works the other 4 days. :
Overview
We’re a family of four living in Chelsea, London. We speak German, French, and English in our household. We are looking for a lovely nanny to work for us on Mondays to care for our two sons, one three-years-old and one six-years-old. This is a sole charge role. Hours are Monday 11.30 til 18.30 Salary up to £26 gph (£182 for 7 hours work)
Our children
Our eldest son currently attends school in Battersea, and takes the school bus in the morning, but requires pickup in the afternoon (between 3-5PM depending on after-school clubs). Our second son attends a local nursery in the morning and requires pickup at 12:15PM after which he will need to have lunch at home followed by a nap. The boys are active and energetic. They love going to the playground, riding on their scooters, and playing Lego and trucks at home. Our eldest will require homework support after school.

- Comfortable with new situations and keeps calm in times of stress
- Experience in sole charge of two children of similar ages
- Able to cook healthy and varied meals for children
There are likely opportunities for extra ad hoc work during the week, holidays or babysitting
Roles and responsibilities:
- Nursery pickup and school pickup
- Research and plan age-appropriate activities for both children
- Support with primary school homework requirements
- Prepare healthy meals for both children (lunch and dinner)
- Organisation and cleaning of children’s belongings
- Care of the children’s clothing
- Run errands related to children’s duties
Additional information:
- Enhanced DBS checked
- Current paediatric first aid.
Required language: German (strongly preferred) or French (preferred), in addition to English
Experience required: Sole charge experience of two children of similar ages
Driving licence required: Preferred
Duration: Permanent
Requirements
Fluent german speaking, speaking only German to the children. (or French!)
Longevity in previous nanny jobs.
Up to date Enhanced DBS (you can apply through Kinder Nannies & Staff)
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK)
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Able to run after small children
Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position.
