About The Team
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Ecommerce Agency Partnerships to join our team. This senior role requires a native ecommerce professional with a proven track record in acquiring agency partnerships to enable and grow the adoption of Worldpay’s SMB payment solution (Worldpay eCommerce) among both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive contacts within the UK and EMEA eCommerce market and the ability to form strong commercial alliances with leading eCommerce agencies. This role demands proactivity and someone who can hit the ground running to deliver results.
What You’ll Own
* Refine and execute a strategic plan to build partnerships with leading EMEA ecommerce agencies and to promote Worldpay eCommerce.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at leading UK ecommerce agencies.
* Drive the adoption of Worldpay eCommerce solutions among agency partners’ existing and new customers through enablement activities supported by Worldpay business partners.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency partnership network.
* Achieve referral, reseller targets, and facilitate the enablement of these businesses.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and support for agency partners.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
* Actively engage in hands‑on activities to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs related to agency partnerships including co‑selling and partner marketing.
* Be a proactive doer, not just a strategic thinker, ensuring the implementation of plans and initiatives.
* Demonstrate strong commercial abilities, including negotiating contracts and managing commercial agreements with agency partners.
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Extensive experience in the ecommerce industry, with a focus on agency partnerships and payment solutions and/or eCommerce technology.
* Proven track record of acquiring and managing agency relationships.
* Strong network of contacts within the UK ecommerce market.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Hands‑on approach with a focus on execution and delivering results.
