The role
Our client is a leading Defence business. They are recruiting a senior commercial manager to be the commercial lead in a successful and growing business unit which provides critical products and services to UK and International Defence customers.
Role
- Experienced senior commercial manager with a remit that covers in life commercial management of large accounts as well as the negotiation of new business.
- Providing contract management and governance support to business and commercial teams.
- Undertaking negotiations and in support of organic or new growth opportunities.
- Commercial lead with a small team of 2 commercial managers, reporting to the Business Unit Commercial Director.
Experience
- You will have been commercial lead on large, complex contracts, with experience in pre contract negotiation as well as in-life contract management.
- Defence sector background is helpful but not essential.
- You will ideally have existing SC clearance that can be transferred, or no issues with being granted SC clearance.
Location and Travel
- Flexible working with anticipated travel of 2 days per month to the Bristol office.
Salary
- Up to £80-£85K + car + bonus + benefits
