Your Responsibilities
* Handle specimens safely and efficiently, including blood, saliva, urine, and stool.
* Review specimen packages for complete information and route them to the correct destination within the lab.
* Data Entry: Scan or manually enter specimen and patient information into our internal system.
* Sort samples into specific bins based on category and lab code.
* Foster an inclusive environment through ongoing self-reflection.
* Build a culture of care and recognition with clear outcomes.
Essential Skills
* Laboratory experience
* ASCP certification

Work Environment
You will be working in a dynamic hospital lab that serves as the central hub for all inpatient samples. This fast-paced environment offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a high-throughput setting. The initial contract duration is three months, with potential extensions based on business needs and performance. Onboarding includes drug, medical, and background checks, and can begin once cleared. The lab is located at Legacy Emanuel, and detailed shift information is available in the tracker link provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
