Snowflake is still growing and hiring globally, and we need an HR Compliance Analyst to assist with our tremendous growth in the EMEA region.
AS AN HR COMPLIANCE ANALYST AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
1. Collaborate with Legal, HR professionals, and Talent Acquisition to draft, implement, and monitor HR policies and programs in accordance with applicable global labor and employment laws and regulations
2. Be responsible for taking small to large, company-wide mission critical projects from original concept through final implementation
3. Develop detailed project execution/change management plans including internal and external company communications
4. Conduct deep dives into worker data to identify trends, potential quality gaps, and insights.
5. Manage responses to government reporting and survey obligations
6. Conduct periodic reviews, audits, and compliance assessments of employment-related policies and practices.
7. Monitor changes and updates to employment laws; draft summaries of legal updates, and advise stakeholders of developments that may impact Snowflake.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
8. At least 3 years of relevant and progressive HR compliance or employment law experience across multiple countries in EMEA
9. A team player who can work in a collaborative environment, cross-functionally and globally, at a fast pace
10. HR Business Acumen - Knowledge of HR practices & processes, job architecture and compensation management
11. Highly proficient in utilizing various computer applications, especially Google Suite
12. Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
13. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
14. Strong attention to detail, able to work independently, and attitude that no project is too big or too small
15. Able to work within a large team across multiple time zones
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
16. Be a situational, influential leader with the ability to operate in the gray space, pivot as needed, and keep up in a hyper-growth environment
17. Proven experience in managing multiple programs/projects
18. Experience enacting process improvements and bringing new ideas to the table
19. Bridge-building skills with an ability to develop strong, trusted partnerships within the HR organization and other partners across the Company
20. Experience with HR software integrations, especially Workday and ServiceNow
21. Experience with GDPR, work councils, time-tracking, time-off plans, gender pay gap, equality plans and employment equity reporting
22. Strong interest in pay equity and pay transparency initiatives
23. Experience at a fast-paced tech company
