I am recruiting for a rare board-level opportunity with a highly respected independent broker, inheriting a £500k book from a retiring Account Director.
They are not retiring for a while, so you’ll have the chance to work closely with them to ensure a thorough, well-supported handover of their clients.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and hold a seat on the board, where you’ll have genuine influence over the strategic direction of the business.
Beyond managing and growing a high-value book of corporate and large commercial clients—generating around £500,000 in income—you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s future.

When I asked the CEO why this was, his answer was simple but stood out. Look after your staff and they won't leave.
You will have a proven and successful track record in a similar position ideally with a focus on corporate or large commercial clients.
You will be at least DIP qualified but APFS, or perhaps even an LLB etc qualifications are all acceptable too.
