Stantec is seeking a Principal or Associate level engineer to join our Building Services (MEP) team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that's passionate about engineering and creating a positive, collaborative work environment. Our Manchester Building Services (MEP) team leads in sustainable, high-performance building design with projects across the North of England in commercial, residential, industrial and leisure sectors.
As a key member of the MEP leadership team, you will lead and mentor the mechanical engineering discipline, oversee multidisciplinary projects from start to finish, manage client relationships, and help ensure project success and a healthy pipeline of work. You will also take ownership of commercial performance, including fee negotiation and project profitability, while championing quality and high standards.
About You
We\'re seeking a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record of managing projects and people in the UK building services industry. You should have:
* A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor\'s, or Master\'s).
* Experience in team management, including recruitment, performance, and development.
* A knack for business development, with the ability to win new work and manage commercial responsibilities.
* Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IES/Amtech.
