Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Business Unit Manager for our Nevill Long specialism namely drywall to drive performance and lead a successful sales team within our East London branch. This role will focus on achieving sales and profitability targets in key market sectors, while nurturing a stable client base and delivering exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in key sectors
* Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Internal Sales team
* Collaborate with External Sales, Operations, and Suppliers to drive commercial performance
* Plan and execute sales strategies, promotions, and pricing initiatives
* Oversee compliance with company procedures, including credit control and health & safety
* Support recruitment, training, and development through the Encon Academy
* Drive continuous improvement in customer service and team performance

You’ll be a confident and results-driven individual with a customer-first approach and a proven background in sales and people management with industry relevant experience.
