About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Belfast, supporting the production and delivery of the A220 aircraft wing.
This role focuses on continuous improvement, ensuring on-time and on-cost delivery through process optimisation, tooling improvements, and close collaboration with production teams. You'll play a key part in driving efficiency, reliability, and quality across the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to production teams, resolving build issues quickly and effectively.
* Drive continuous improvement activities to optimise manufacturing performance and efficiency.
* Analyse and improve existing manufacturing systems and workflows.
* Define and support tooling and jig requirements for wing component assembly.
* Collaborate with design, tooling, and quality teams to ensure robust and reliable processes.
* Support capacity management and assist in new product introduction.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.

About You
* Degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
* 3+ years' experience in aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.
* Strong understanding of industrial processes and production systems.
* Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Proactive and solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges.
