Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Groundworkers / Civil Engineering Operatives to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be involved in a variety of civil engineering and groundwork projects, working as part of a professional team delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction works.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in drainage, foundations, concrete works, roads, kerbing and general groundworks who are looking for long‑term employment and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering works.
- Install drainage systems, manholes and ducting.
- Highways works.
- Prepare foundations and concrete works.
- Excavation and reinstatement works.
- Work safely around plant and machinery.
- Follow site drawings and instructions from Supervisors, Foremen and Site Managers.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health and safety.
- Assist with general site duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundworks and civil engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- CPCS/NPORS plant tickets advantageous.
- Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to delivering quality work.
