WSP Solicitors is seeking a motivated Commercial Property Solicitor/Lawyer to join our growing Commercial Property department. Key Responsibilities
Commercial Property Work & Client Advisory
* Managing your own caseload across a broad range of commercial property matters, including buying, selling, and leasing commercial property.
* Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters and a wide variety of commercial property agreements, including technically demanding documentation.
* Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice using plain English.
Client Relationship Management
* Acting for a broad range of commercial clients and developing strong, long‑term client relationships.
* Demonstrating a commercially aware, client‑first approach in all aspects of your work.
Business Development & Profile Building
* Supporting the firm’s marketing and business development activities as appropriate, including networking and relationship building.
* Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the Commercial Property department.
Teamwork & Professional Development
* Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
* Continuing to develop your technical skills, commercial awareness, and professional confidence through internal and external training.
The Ideal Candidate
* Circa 2+ years’ PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practice rights.
* Proven experience across all aspects of commercial property law, including buying, selling, and leasing.
* A solid working knowledge of property law and landlord and tenant law.
* A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear, plain‑English advice.
* Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.
* An enthusiastic, team‑focused approach with a good balance of technical ability and commercial awareness.
