Position Overview
As a Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) in the newly created Cardiorenal department in Central UK and North West, you will lead the development and delivery of local and regional medical advisory services to support business goals. You’ll serve as a trusted medical expert to healthcare professionals, ensuring they understand the science and clinical value of our treatments. The role involves driving medical education, supporting strategic initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment across teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and share medical insights to inform Medical Affairs strategy and cross-functional projects, both locally and internationally
* Support clinical research activities, including trial site identification, Investigator Sponsored Studies, and local phase IV studies from setup to publication
* Build trusted relationships with HCPs and institutions, deliver high-quality medical education, facilitate advisory boards, and respond to medical inquiries
* Collaborate with healthcare systems and associations to co-create solutions that improve patient outcomes and optimize clinical care pathways
* Train colleagues, lead scientific events, support promotional meetings, and contribute to medico-marketing strategy and expert speaker engagement
Qualifications
We are searching for individuals whose strong collaboration skills, paired with drive and patient-centricity enable them to establish great professional relationships and communicate efficiently internally as well as externally. Moreover, we expect our candidates to meet the following criteria:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in written and spoken English
* Medical / PhD / Pharmacy qualification (desirable)
* Post-graduate medical qualification (desirable)
* Cardiovascular or Renal Experience in Medical Affairs/Non-Promotional/NHS (Essential)
* ABPI Medical Representative Examination or willingness to work towards certification (essential)
* Full, clean driving licence
