Field Sales Manager – Major Infrastructure Projects
Up To £70,000 + Bonus and Car
Elevation are delighted to be working with a global leader in formwork, focused on engineering-driven construction solutions.
Responsible for driving business development and managing client relationships across large-scale infrastructure sectors such as highways, rail, utilities, and energy alongside leading and motivating a sales team to achieve targets, ensuring high performance through effective coaching, strategic planning, and performance monitoring.
This is a role that requires regular national travel.
As the Field Sales Manager you will:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration for major infrastructure projects.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including government agencies, private developers, and contractors.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, tunnels, and urban development initiatives.
* Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals and bids for major infrastructure projects.
* Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
* Directly manage parts of major projects and customers in addition to managing team
What you will bring:
* Technical Knowledge of Formwork & Scaffolding Systems
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specs
* Proven B2B sales experience within the civil engineering or heavy construction sector
* Track record of growing key accounts and securing multi-million-pound projects
* Experience leading or mentoring sales teams or regional sales units
* Ability to set KPIs, manage pipelines, and drive performance using CRM systems
* Ability to forecast sales and manage budgets or P&L responsibility
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar - Desirable
