An opportunity has arisen for a Working Supervisor and a Site Manager to join the team at Morrison Construction North East.
You will based in or around the Tayside, Angus or Perthshire area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region, local people are key to our Business and we are keen to encourage applications from within the local area. What you will be doing:
1. To take full responsibility for production functions on contracts allocated by the Contract Manager/ Operations Director from award through to the issue of the Maintenance Certificate and to maintain and maximise quality of service and profitability.
2. Plan, co-ordinate, maintain and develop staff and operative levels to effectively undertake current and prospective workloads.
3. Together with the Contract Manager/ Operations Director, make initial contacts with clients after contract award and participate in external pre-start meetings.
4. Co-ordinate, drive and control initial site set-up, actively installing Company systems and procedures
5. Liaise and co-ordinate with all Head Office Departments to improve all levels of communication
6. Produce data as required by Contract Manager/Operations Director to facilitate accurate contract reporting for inclusion in Management Board Papers
7. Appraise the security risk to all Company property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values
8. Establish and maintain links with clients, determine customer satisfaction levels and develop contact points for post contract marketing
About You:
9. Good communication verbally and in written form at all levels
10. Relevant project experience is essential
11. Ability to manage sub contract programmes
12. Leading our own workforce on site
13. IT proficient
14. CSCS
15. SMSTS
16. First Aid Certificate
