We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef who is enthusiastic, driven and ready to join the team at Studio Modou.
The role
At Studio Modou, we evolve our concepts regularly, which gives you continual opportunities to develop your skills and broaden your knowledge across a variety of cooking styles.
You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef. You will assist in supervising the team and coordinating the delivery of high quality dishes in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment. You will be eager to develop your own skills while supporting the growth of those working alongside you.
As a Junior Sous Chef at Studio Modou, you will:
* Assist with controlling and overseeing seasoning, portioning and presentation
* Demonstrate and promote teamwork within the kitchen and with the wider studio team
* Communicate clearly, lead confidently when required and collaborate effectively
* Show a strong understanding of food, modern preparation techniques and food safety
* Commit to delivering a first class experience for every guest
* Bring a positive attitude, strong multitasking ability and a willingness to learn
* Display excellent organisational skills and perform well under pressure
