Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Services Adviser to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The Customer Services Team are first point of contact for over 20 different council services. We are particularly looking for someone who is confident and experienced in delivering frontline services to customers in a fast paced, responsive environment and who will deliver an excellent service to the residents of our borough.
As a Customer Service Adviser, you will be responsible for the resolution of enquiries from our residents across a range of service areas you will need to be efficient, effective, sensitive and have courteous manner, maintaining records of customer transactions accurately and efficiently. You will assist customers over the phone, in person and online.
You will ensure that customers are able to access the council’s services and when required, participate in the development and testing of service processes and digital customer solutions.
You will provide digital assistance and support and promote customer self-serve channels.
The post-holder is required to use digital systems and processes to provide customer services from either, one of the Council’s three multi-service face-to-face contact centres, the Council reception desks or its virtual contact centre.
Post holders will be required to rotate between different centres to meet fluctuating workloads and as part of their training.
The post is subject to a DBS check.
