Job Description
* Monitor and manage outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment from clients.
* Resolve payment discrepancies and address client queries professionally and efficiently.
* Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
* Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable and overdue balances.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth credit processes.
* Implement and adhere to credit control policies and procedures.
* Provide support during audits by compiling necessary financial information.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the credit control function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful FTC Credit Control candidate should have:
* Strong knowledge of credit control and accounts receivable processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools, with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve issues.
* Previous experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector is advantageous.
* A proactive and organised approach to work.
* AAT or CICM qualified
* Experience working in manufacturing
