Job Description: Injection Moulding Operator 39 hours per week. Monday to Friday Shift pattern: Week 1 5.55am to 13.55pm (Mon to Thurs) 5.55am to 12.55pm (Fri) Week 2 13.55pm to 21.55pm (Mon to Thurs) 12.55 to 19.55pm (Fri) Pay: £14.24 shift allowance of £12 per shift Employment type: Permanent contract direct with employer The role: We are looking for an Injection Moulding Operative to work in our recently constructed, purpose built injection moulding facility. You will be using the very latest in machine and factory technology and contributing to the manufacture of electronic products for the high performance and luxury car markets as well as the Gas, Safety and Consumer electronics sectors. Duties: Ensure parts produced meet the criteria of the work instructions / visual aid. Carry out hourly quality checks on moulded parts. Accurately complete all documentation. Segregate rejects and document by type of fault. Trim excess material from parts if necessary. Pack and identify product as per instructions. Follow work instructions as needed and if required write, revise and train others to those instructions. Maintain a thoroughly clean working environment and perform general housekeeping. You will be accustomed to working to targets and customer deadlines and will fully understand and embrace a continuous improvement culture.
