Job Description
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary care team, providing and managing holistic care to people who have life-limiting conditions.
Based in our Fair Havens hospice, overlooking Priory Park, you will support our Adult In-Patient team by caring for and supporting our patients.
The shift pattern for this role involves three long shifts per week, including day, night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts, as per rostering requirements.
Applicants must have completed their nursing preceptorship, as we are unable to accept applications from those who have not.
Responsibilities include assessing and managing patient needs, undertaking assessments, and planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to policies, protocols, procedures, or codes of conduct.
Havens Hospices cares for children, young people, and adults with complex or incurable conditions, supporting them and their families through illness, death, and bereavement in their homes and at our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
Working at Havens Hospices allows you to give the gift of time to patients and families, creating memories. Your contribution, even if not directly caring for patients, will significantly impact our care services.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a difference every day, helping us continue 'Making every day count' for those in need.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our employees and patients, and we expect all colleagues to share this commitment.
We value diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
