The Role
The successful Teacher of English will:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking English Lessons
Inspire curiosity, discussion, and a love of historical enquiry
Teach mixed-ability classes with confidence and adaptability
Track progress and support students to reach their potential
Work closely with a cohesive and encouraging humanities team
This role would suit both experienced English Teachers and ECTs, with mentoring and support available.
Requirements
To be considered for this Teacher of English position, you will need:
QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
Experience teaching English
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
