We’re currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for an Interim Procurement Officer to join a fantastic Local Authority based in Slough. This is an interim opportunity until 2026 initially offering a daily rate of; £416.70 PAYE or £562.50 via Umbrella flexible working Key Responsibilities: Deliver procurement advice and guidance across the organisation Manage the end-to-end procurement process in line with public sector regulations Support contract management and supplier engagement Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure value for money Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of public sector procurement rules and practices Experience in local authority or public body procurement roles Ability to manage multiple procurement activities Excellent communication and negotiation skills
