Lecturer in Barbering
We are looking for a Lecturer in Barbering to join our Service Industries team reporting to our Service Industries Curriculum Manager. The Service Industries department is a friendly and hardworking team made up of lecturers across Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Sports and Public Services.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver practical and theory lessons that align with curriculum requirements, Awarding Body standards and meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Support learners throughout their studies: helping them to overcome barriers to learning, develop new skills, set targets and monitor progress to ensure they achieve qualification outcomes.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in the Barbering Industry is required.
* Experience teaching and/or assessing is desirable.
* Organised, excellent IT and problem‑solving skills, strong accuracy, attention to detail, professionalism, motivation, ability to inspire, build relationships and willingness to learn and develop.
