MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

THE POSITION:
We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is part-qualified or early in their professional studies (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA), and who has gained solid foundational experience in Accounts Payable or as an Assistant Accountant. You'll play a key role in supporting month-end processes, financial reporting, and business partnering, while continuing to develop your technical and analytical skills in a supportive environment.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative finance team, with exposure to a wide range of accounting processes and business functions across Europe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Accounting:
* Prepare and post the monthly accruals and prepayments for overheads, marketing, freight costs and goods in transit.
* Maintain accurate accounting for tangible and intangible assets
* Calculate and post intercompany transactions and complete reconciliations
* Conduct OpEx reviews including A vs B analysis
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial statements
* Play a key role in preparing quarterly reports, gaining hands-on experience with DIVA submissions.
Marketing Finance Support
* Manage accounting entries related to marketing spend
* Deliver reporting and analysis to support marketing effectiveness
* Act as a business partner to the Marketing team, providing financial insight and guidance
Operational Finance
* Manage the REG Finance mailbox, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution
* Help maintain the accounting system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
* Post adhoc journals and support with reporting requirements as requested by the line manager, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
* Act as a team engager for the company intranet, promoting finance updates and engagement
* Assist with the year-end process, internal and external audits
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Experience in an Accounts Payable, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Previous exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations
* Experience working in multi-currency environments is advantageous.
